Military Wives Choir
The Chicksands and Henlow Military Wives Choir is open to all females with a military connection; wives/serving females/mothers/veterans etc. No auditions and no requirement to read music. We are a friendly group who enjoy singing, fun and friendship.
We meet weekly on Wednesday evenings, in the Community room at the Gilbertine Centre, and are always looking to welcome new members. Tea/coffee and cake from 7.15pm, Singing from 7.45pm. For more information, find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or email; email@example.com
Ran by volunteer service families, Club4 provides a fun and safe environment for you and your children to play and engage with others.
Another group ran by the families on Chicksands, meeting every other Tuesday afternoon, Creatives engages you and your children in creative and hands on fun.
Held every Thursday:
6pm - 7:15pm ages 7 to 11 at the Youth Club
7:30pm - 9pm ages 11 to 1 chill out at the Abeona

The Chicksands Clay Shooting Club is open to all military, families and MOD civil servants.
The river running through chicksands is available to fish in line with uk fishing laws and seasons. The river has a nice selection of bream, carp, perch and roach.

Inspire Performing Arts
Excellent tutor led class held in the Gilbertine Community Centre.

Held every other Tuesday in the Gilbertine Community Centre between 3:30pm - 9pm. If you are interested or are looking for more information; please come to one of the sessions and speak with the dance instructor Rosie Craig.
A volunteer led group which runs every Wednesday at 10am in the Gilbertine Community Room.
The group is for those parents with young children/babies who want to have a break/meet with others with young children.
The group has plenty of toys and soft play.
