Welfare & Chaplaincy

The Gilbertine Centre houses several groups and activities, along with the essential services you may need during your stay at Chicksands. Please browse this section and if you have any enquiries please contact the DITG Welfare Team.

Opening Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm Fridays 8:30am to 3pm

Please ensure you maintain social distancing and utilise the hand sanitising station on entrance via the main automatic door.

Welfare Teams

The DITG and DHU welfare teams offer free confidential advice and guidance services to all serving personnel and their families, we also provide signposting services to the organisations and groups which provide bespoke and specialist services to the Military and their dependants.

No pre-booked appointment necessary, you can find us immediately on your right as you enter the Gilbertine Centre via the main automatic door.

The Chicksands Pastoral team are here to provide everyone with the moral and spiritual guidance and support which we all need from time to time. Whether you are religious or not, the Padre and his team are here to help.

For more information on what they can do for you, please contact them direct. The Padre's office is located in the Gilbertine Centre as you make your way round to the cafe.
