Remembrance Ceremony

There will be a Humanist Remembrance Ceremony at 1100 hrs on Saturday 7 Nov 2020. In keeping with current events and restrictions, the ceremony has been pre-recorded and will be released at this LINK at 1100 on Saturday.

The Humanist ceremony is an inclusive, secular celebration of remembrance and is aimed at all personnel regardless of faith, belief or lack thereof.

Given the restrictions in place throughout the UK at this time, many will no doubt be looking for a new way to mark what is for many the most important day in the Service calendar; a time to remember the fallen from all conflicts but particularly those friends and colleagues lost in recent years.

With the ceremony being released on Saturday it will be possible for any personnel interested in a secular remembrance to engage with this ceremony without conflicting with any other national remembrance services.
